my skin actually looks different and I haven't bought anything new

Right so I've been properly sceptical of the whole 'collagen fixes everything' thing for ages — like, as someone who knows a fair bit about how stress affects the body, I tend to roll my eyes at stuff that sounds too neat. But honestly? My skin has shifted noticeably over the past few weeks and the only thing I've changed is being more consistent with my collagen. Not more products. Not a new serum. Just... not skipping it. I think the seasonal change was making my skin look a bit dull and I kept reaching for more stuff when actually I just needed to be consistent with what was already working. That's a bit embarrassing to admit tbh. My routine is still dead minimal — SPF, moisturiser, collagen in my morning drink — but my skin looks less tired. Less like I've had a hard week even when I have.

yeah same thing happened to me around October, skin just looked flat and I wasn't doing anything different — consistency with collagen was the only shift that made sense

hydration makes a bigger difference to my skin than anything else tbh, especially training in the cold
